Notice

Please read:  Materials fee of $7 per participant due to the instructor the day of class. Participants may bring scissors, hot glue gun, school glue, and sewing supplies (if desired): needle, thread, pin cushion. We will supply templates, wooden spoons and spatulas, dowels, googly eyes, craft sticks, pipe cleaners, pompoms, trims, stuffing, and fabric scraps. NOTE: a sandwich puppet is a puppet made by sewing two identical pieces of fabric together to create a puppet. Similar to sewing a pillow. A three-hour class in one session, in which children (ages 8 and up) and their parent or guardian can build two rod puppets: a person (i.e., a king or girl) and an animal (i.e., a dog or sheep) to take home. No sewing is required, although some participants may want to do a little stitching on puppet bodies or costumes.
