Praxis Pennsylvania Middle Grades 4-8 All Subject Areas

This online course includes review for all 4-8 Core Exams for teacher candidates seeking initial certification in one or more subject areas for grades 4-8. The following Praxis subtests are covered in this course: 5153, 5154, 5155, 5156, 5157, 5158, and 5159. The course is designed for PreK-4 teachers preparing to add grades 5 and 6 or teacher candidates for PA Middle Level Grades 4-8 PreK-4 certificate holders may take two subtests: Grades 4-8 English Language Arts and Social Studies (5154) and Mathematics and Science (5155) to add grades 5 and 6. Current Pennsylvania Certified Teachers will receive ACT 48 hours for their participation. This course is based on the ETS E-books for Pennsylvania Grades 4-8 Core Assessment: Pedagogy, English Language Arts and Social Studies, Mathematics and Science. There are numerous practice questions and explanations, quizzes, and content review documents. Group chats for each topic are delivered in the class. Discussion board forums also allow class participants to communicate with each other and the instructor throughout the course. Students will receive start-up directions via email several days before the start of class.
