Employees want to be paid, the employer wants to strike a balance between pay and performance and the laws regulate how and for what work employees must be paid.  The compensation module is designed to provide an overview of pay and benefits as they relate to the human resources function.  The overview includes identifying the appropriate pay structure, compensation and benefit plans for an organization, and spotting issues and pitfalls in compensation and pay through an understanding of the laws that affect payroll operations and recordkeeping requirements.
