This course introduces adult learners to artificial intelligence, or AI, in the workplace. The focus is on practical ways to use AI, as well as how to use it securely and protect important data. Throughout the course, learners will have the opportunity to explore various types of AI tools, learn how to use them in a responsible manner, and develop skills that help reduce the risk of exposing personal or organizational information.

In this training, you will learn how to:
  • Gain an understanding of predictive, conversational, and generative AI, and learn when to use each type appropriately.
  • Match AI capabilities to tasks
  • Recognize risks involved, avoid unsafe practices, and follow important guidelines for protecting data
  • Practice techniques such as anonymizing inputs and rewriting prompts to protect sensitive information
