The goal of this program is to provide participants with a basic understanding of the changes in memory, communication, function, and behavior that occur as a result of Alzheimer's disease and the appropriate intervention strategies to enhance the care they provide to individuals with Alzheimer's disease.  NOTE: This is a two-part class. The participant must attend both sessions to receive the certificate.

This is a required course within the 100 hour Personal Care Home Administrator training program. This course can be taken individually by licensed administrators required to attend 24 hours of yearly job training.
