The purpose of this training is to provide the potential personal care home administrator and current administrator with a general understanding of self administration of medications, as well as information on safe and effective storage practices, the effects of medication, common medical terms and universal precautions regarding medications. 

This is a required course within the 100 hour Personal Care Home Administrator training program. This course can be taken individually by licensed administrators required to attend 24 hours of yearly job training.
